El Tuito seemed to my mind somewhat “authentic”. We arrived in the town square in a town where the buildings rarely, possibly never (as in I didn’t observe any), are built over two stories.
To wander its streets you find shops busy making tortillas and cheese. Locals watch from under shaded awnings. The parade of tourists from Puerto Vallarta has begun for the day.
